Are you a licensed surveyor?

No. Cairns Drone Services is not a cadastral surveying business and does not provide legal boundary surveys or certify survey plans.

We provide drone imagery, GIS mapping, site documentation and visual reports. Boundary or cadastral work must be completed by a registered cadastral surveyor.

Can you show my property boundaries?

We can include indicative boundary and parcel overlays using available public data or supplied material, but these are for reference only.

They must not be used to determine legal boundaries. For that, contact a registered cadastral surveyor.

Do I need a surveyor or a drone map?

If you need legal boundaries, survey marks, subdivision plans, easement certification or cadastral work, you need a registered cadastral surveyor.

If you need aerial imagery, site context, property features, access notes, terrain visuals, progress reporting or a practical map/report, Cairns Drone Services may be suitable.

Can you fly anywhere?

No. Drone work depends on airspace, weather, site access, people, roads, buildings, powerlines, airports, emergency operations and CASA rules.

Every job is checked before flight.

Can you inspect my roof?

Yes, where it is safe and legal to fly. A drone roof inspection can provide clear aerial photos and visual observations, but it is not a formal engineering or building certification.

Can you map farms?

Yes. Rural property mapping is one of the main services. Reports can show tracks, dams, access, terrain, vegetation context, paddocks, visible infrastructure and practical observations.

Can you help before I buy land?

Yes. A Rural Property Intelligence Report can help you understand access, terrain, visible features and mapping context before buying. It should be used alongside proper legal, planning, building and professional due diligence.

Can you calculate stockpile volumes?

Yes, approximate stockpile estimates may be available depending on the site and mapping workflow. For contract-critical or high-accuracy volumes, the job may require proper control or a registered professional.

Do you provide raw images?

Yes. Depending on the package, images can be supplied alongside the report.

Do you provide video?

Yes. Aerial photography and video are available, but the main focus is mapping, inspections and reports.

What areas do you service?

Cairns and surrounding areas, including Gordonvale, Edmonton, Redlynch, Smithfield, Kuranda, Mareeba, Atherton Tablelands, Innisfail, Babinda, Port Douglas, Mossman and wider FNQ by quote.
